Our Christmas offering is a tangible way to join God, through Sanctuary, in the renewal of all things. Future Builders is our building, special missions and expansion fund where we give over and above our regular giving to build the future of our movement, region, and world.
Every December & January with great faith and vision, our leadership share some key initiatives, partnerships, and projects for the year to come. As a community, we then prayerfully pledge to financially sow into the future.
This Christmas we hope to raise $50,000 for the six initiatives below.
Foster Care
We have a unique opportunity in partnership with Bags Of Hope to purchase 332 personalized, monogrammed duffle bags filled with comfort items and gifts for EVERY FOSTER CHILD in the Providence system.
We also have their names… which gives us a unique and intimate way to pray. After you purchase a bag (online or on Sunday), come take an ornament with a name on it & a prayer guide from the lobby.
Residency Program
In the fall of 2023 we plan to launch a residency and internship program. This past year we have been developing a new immersive experience for those wanting to deepen their discipleship and clarify their calling all while serving at Sanctuary. Both the residency and internship will involve college level course work through courses, direct mentorship, leadership coaching and experiential learning.
Your gift will help fund the human and material resources needed to launch this well.
No Need Among Us
Every year we have multiple opportunities to meet substantial financial needs. Our needs fund helps us show the love of Jesus whenever and wherever the need arises– whether providing meals, paying rent checks, providing access to professional counselors, or caring for an array of spiritual and tangible needs. Last year, our needs ministry provided around $10,000 worth of direct care.
Love Your City
Support our seasonal outreaches to our city like our foster fall fest, back-to-school drive, and Love PVD days.
Local Refugee Care
We have a unique opportunity to help serve in the placement and care of this new and vulnerable community making their way to our city.
Your gift will provide direct and essential care for the refugee dream center as well as additional Afghan families with which we have been walking alongside this year.
Let’s Build A Well!
We have a really cool opportunity to finish the building of a well in one of the most under resourced areas in Kenya.
This borehole is being drilled at the site where one of our partner churches exists and will provide potable water to the entire church and all 302 kids in that program as well as the surrounding community!
