KID CITY 15

KidCity is looking for 15 people to join the team

Our goal in KidCity is to partner with families in teaching children to follow the path of Jesus. Our desire is that every child would have the opportunity to encounter God through the word, lessons, and prayer. We believe that God desires to have an intimate relationship with each child that comes through our doors.

Furthermore, it is our goal that everything we do on a Sunday would empower parents to take the lead in the discipleship of their kids.

Current Team Positions

1. Nursery,
2. Pre-K classroom,
3. Kindergarten to 2nd grade classroom,
4. Grades 3-5 classroom

New Team Positions

1. Junior Volunteers
   1. Kids age 13-17 who will serve alongside an adult volunteer in nursery, pre-k, or k-2
      
2. Pre-Service Team
   1. A support team of 2 to watch volunteer’s children from 9:00 – 10:00am every Sunday
      
3. On-Call Team
   1. Each person would be scheduled one Sunday per month to be “on call.” They would attend church regularly but be available to step in if someone was unable to come last-minute, or if our class sizes were above our capacity

1. Parents
   1. Volunteering for KidCity gives parents an opportunity to engage deeply in their children’s formation both on Sunday morning & beyond, whether that’s in their class or a different one. If a parent prefers to serve in a class their child isn’t in, volunteering for the age above their child is a great way to prepare for the next season of parenting.   
      
2. Empty Nesters
   1. As seasoned parents who are no longer caring for young children, this is a great opportunity to pour into & disciple our church’s children & young families.
      
3. Singles/married w/o children
   1. KidCity is a great opportunity to pour into the next generation while blessing and building deep relationships with families & kids.
